Tonight kicks off the World Series in downtown Boston as the Red Sox host the St Louis Cardinals in game one of the world series. These teams aren't knew to the series, in the last ten years both teams have been here three times. Although both teams are very evenly matched Boston is the slight favorite. Weather conditions could play a tough a factor tonight with temps being in the low forty's, and slight chance of rain. Adam Wainwright will face off against Jon Lester with an eight o clock first pitch. So the question is if your a pirates fan who do you want to win? Do you go with the Cardinals who can show the true strength of the NL Central or do you go with the Sox who can finally knock off the Cardinals.
This is tough to decided, I would have rather seen the Pirates vs Yankees world series, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. For now I have to say the Cardnials, they look like the better team and I think thhis is a great accomplishment with their former star Albert Pujol.s
